Rather than pay attention to the many emails and tips about election day irregularities and exit poll discrepancies they received after the 2004 election, corporate media reporters and journalists collectively rolled their eyes or stuck their fingers in their ears and said “La la la la la I’m not listening!” But a rare exception was Tribune Media Services syndicated columnist, Bob Koehler, who was one of the first to report nationally on the glaring problem, got the story out so that now we can be prepared for what lies ahead in 2008.
Or will the corporate media be Rip Van Hoodwinkled again?
