Uncounted to Screen at the American Film Institute on Tuesday, 9/9
The Man Wouldn’t Come to UNCOUNTED, So UNCOUNTED is Taking It to the Man!
This Tuesday, September 9, the American Film Institute will present a screening of UNCOUNTED: The New Math of American Elections at their prestigious AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center in Silver Spring, Maryland…just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the belly of the beast (also known as our Nation’s capital).
Because the outrage of systematic voter disenfranchisement looms large over the 2008 presidential election but is rarely talked about by either political party or their candidates, the UNCOUNTED AFI event will ask two very timely and important questions: “How can we stop the systematic voter disenfranchisement that has plagued recent elections?” and “How can we assure that the person who wins in November has been elected fairly?”
