Real Americans Don’t Cheat
I can’t tell you how many times we get asked, with dripping skepticism, the following question, “If >>INSERT MOST OBJECTIONABLE PRESIDENTIAL OR VICE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE OF YOUR CHOICE HERE<< found evidence of election fraud and voter suppression, would you still fight just as hard for the integrity of our elections? Would you still feel as if our election system was being polluted? Would you still feel that our democracy was being subverted?"
The answer: Yes! Yes! A thousand times YES!
As our friend Jim Ridley of the Nashville Scene writes this week, in anticipation of our upcoming UNCOUNTED screening in Nashville the night before next Tuesday’s Presidential Debate, “…Earnhardt’s lucid, non-partisan appeal is all the more convincing (and chilling) for its restraint.”
That’s right. The movie is non-partisan because the issue is non-partisan. The issue is non-partisan because what REAL American wants to cheat to win? Ask THAT question at next Tuesday night’s debate, Hand-Picked Undecided Town Hall Audience, I dare you.
