Ask These Questions, Hand-Picked Undecided Town Hall Audience, I Dare Ya

By Mary Mancini

The two major presidential candidates make their way to UNCOUNTED’s hometown of Nashville, TN and Belmont University on Tuesday for the second of three presidential debates, and we have a few suggestions for questions:

  • What can we do to stop the systematic disfranchisement that has plagued recent elections?
  • How can we assure that the person who wins in November has been elected fairly?
  • If voting is the cornerstone of our democracy, then why isn’t every vote counted?
  • And why can’t every American who wants to vote, do so without interference?

Hmmm. What are the odds, do you think, of these being asked..? Right. So. What to do? What to do? I KNOW! Let’s put on a show!

How can you be trusted when you say in one breath you will never vote for a bill that has pork belly and expose the ones responsible and your next acton is to vote for a bill with billions of dollars in pork belly?
